About Alfie Wishart

Alfie Wishart started on the Journey in Austin in 1977, working in Herbs Etc. herb store. From this, he became an accomplished and sought-after herbalist yet he felt something was missing after seeing many health problems that were difficult or impossible to treat with herbs, Acupuncture, Ayurvedic or Chinese medicine.

He was first heard about Homeopathy in a lecture by Dr. Mohammed Qasim, visiting from India and lecturing on Homeopathy. He felt he found the missing piece.

The Early Days

Further Study

He worked briefly with Dr. Richard Moskowitz who suggested he take a course with the National Center for Homeopathy, which he did in 1980. With his newfound and fledgling knowledge, he treated his family and friends on an informal basis. He was encouraged by the successes he had, word spread, and in 1995 he was asked by a Chiropractor to practice out of her offices in Richardson, where he practiced till 2000. His current office is at Curis Functional Health in Dallas.
In the year 2000, he began his formal studies with The School of Homeopathy in Devon, England. He studied with Misha Norland (founder of the Devon School), Janet Snowden, and Elaine Watson, all internationally known Homeopaths. Since then, he has received training from Miranda Castro, Kim Elia, Dr. Faroukh Master, Dr. Will Taylor, John Millar, ND, Amy Rothenberg, Kim Elia, George Dimitriadis and other internationally known Homeopaths and teachers. He completed his advanced supervision at the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine in Toronto.
